How can i configure Microsoft Defender sensor for Azure VMs

I am trying to add the sensor for Microsoft Defender for our Azure virtual machines. Can you share the step by step process ho ca we configure it

Thanks for contacting us.

Based on my research I couldn't find a native sensor for Microsoft Defender monitoring but here's a similar request: https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/87601-monitoring-windows-defender-with-prtg

There is a suggestion of using EXE/Custom script sensor but as mentioned there is no native sensor for MS Defender.
