Print Queue isseu

Hi, i am working on an older installation of PRTG (20.3.61.1649) with no support contract. Unfortunately the Print Queue Sensor (WMI) is not working for me. While testing with the WMI test application will give me the right ques and data on the target server, when trying to set it up in PRTG interface will give me an 'the RPC server is unavaileble' error.

I Found somewhere there might be an error in this version of PrintQueue.exe (19.1.1.5) so i got the lates version of an updated PRTG installation (22.4.1.7). I placed in the Sonsor System folder. When running it manualy it serves me an 'general failure' error before even trying to connect to the target server. I guess this version is to new for this PRTG installation.

Has anybody an idea where I might get a file that will work with whis installation? thanks!

Hello Pruygje

Thank you for contacting PRTG support.

I will suggest you review and meet the remarks and requirements for this sensor in this manual (https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/windows_print_queue_sensor).

I suggest you renew your maintenance and license version for a better experience. In order to renew your maintenance, you can do that here https://shop.paessler.com/shop/prtg/maintenance or you can contact our service team at [email protected]
