Ping packet loss global default

Is there a way to set a global default setting for all ping sensors where if packet loss gets over a specific amount it goes into warning and same for error? Short of setting this for every single ping sensor we have, is there a way to set this globally as we would want every device using the ping sensor to use these same settings.

Hello,
there's no global setting, you can however adjust multiple sensors at once using the multi edit. You can also adjust the setting once on a single ping sensor and create a device template which can then be used to create new sensors using the auto-discovery using the same settings.

Thank you. Multi edit helps but creating a new template for Ping/Packetloss will not work as we already make templates for every different device we use, not for every specific sensor. Is this something that can be set as a feature request as I believe it would be beneficial to be able to put together some sort of global defaults either in the UI or in a config file somewhere.

Hello,

custom global defaults are not planned because multi-edit and the device templates are available. Offering multiple options to reach the same result would make the software more complex.
