I have changed the name and the IP address of our PRTG Server.

Steps I took where;

  • Renamed the server
  • rebooted
  • changed IP address of server
  • Changed IP address in system administrator
  • restarted Server
  • checked IP address was the new IP address in all locations (system setup)
  • checked system status, all ok
  • Can get to web frontend on new IP

All sensors showing as "paused by schedule" - schedule is fine.

Any ideas?

Have I missed something?

I have checked the "move to another computer" doc and followed the necessary steps which are similar to my own.

change ip prtg

Dear Steven,

which exact version of PRTG are you running? Do you have any Schedules set at all? Have you checked on the root-level as well?

We can also handle this as a normal support ticket, if you like, then please simply respond to the email-notification about this reply.

Best Regards.

I am also in this situation - all sensors are paused. I will raise a ticket.
