How do I import data from version 7 to version 8?

Our server was crashed and fortunately we had the backup of PRTG ver 7. Now we have a fresh installation of version 8. How would i import data from ver 7 to ver 8 ?

  1. Stop both PRTG services.
  2. Copy everything from the V7 folder to the V8 folder of the new installation.
  3. Run the version 8 installer again.
  4. PRTG should now start with your configuration and data.
