There are no Switches or Firewalls in our devices

This is our first installation. After the device discovery there is no Switch or Firewall in the root. The first item I want to test is traffic and the demo I watched used a Switch.

Why are they listed?

Hi there,

In order to monitor the devices, you need to configure SNMP on the target devices. PRTG supports SNMP in the versions v1, v2c and v3. Configure a read-only community with a string of your choice. Some devices require to fill-in the PRTG Server's IP address as an agent to allow the PRTG Server to get information.
