Suggestion to Graph Settings

Votes:

0

Hello, I always use most detailed settings for Graph Settings. Now it is:

LiveGraph 16h/1min = 960 values x3 Graph1 2d/1min = 2880 values x30 Graph2 60d/1h = 1440 values x12.5 Graph3 750d/1d = 750 values

for unknown reasons you are using a very non-linear step between graphs (3...30...12.5) and very different values (960...2880...1440...750), (2880 is overkill, even for fullhd width), also last Graph limited to 2 years.

My suggestion is using more linear step and almost the same values: (also I suggest using Day, Week, Month, Quarter, Year - it is standard business intervals, and add Graph5):

Live 24hours/1min = 1440 values x7 Graph1 1week/10min = 1008 values x4.4 Graph2 1month/30min = 1440 values x3 Graph3 1quarter/90min = 1440 values x4 Graph4 1year/6hour = 1460 values x4 Graph5 4years/1day = 1460 values

Hi,

If you want to have this option included in PRTG, you are welcome to open a Feature Request. Feature Requests are enhancements you desire for the future and are voted by the customers. This means that if your request gets many votes, this increases the prioritisation of our product owners. You'll find more information here
