How do we update acknowledgements?

I want to be able to update the message for the acknowledgments but so far I've been unable to get it to update in both PRTG beta 8 and PRTG 7.

I tried pausing and unpausing in the beta 8 but no luck, it wouldn't clear my acknowledgment so I could add a new one. Really though I should be able to re-acknowledge and it replaces the message ( which does not work ).

Hello,

updating the message of an acknowledged alarm is currently not possible. We can set this on the wishlist though.

Hello,

feature requests are now done this way. We get more request than can be implemented. There is some demand for updating sensor messages, other features are in higher demand.

At some point in the future we might revise the whole sensor status handling, allowing more flexibility. For now, development works on those roadmap items.
