As of PRTG version 8.2, there is a jFlow sensor type which supports jFlow V5, as well as a jFlow v5 (Custom) Sensor.
The J-flow export of Juniper devices can be set to NetFlow 5 format which PRTG can process. This KB article on the Juniper website describes how to enable it:
Quote: Refer to the following steps for an example of configuring J-flow. It should also work with NetFlow versions 5 and 9.

Important for users of PRTG 8.x (deprecated): J-flow usually uses sampling (i.e. only every n-th packet is being exported). PRTG's NetFlow and jFlow sensors do not support sampling yet, so you must either disable sampling on the Juniper device (which can affect performance due to increased processing load) or you must multiply the values shown by PRTG with the sampling rate. A sampling rate of 100 means that PRTG will show traffic to be 1 kbit/s while it actually is 100 kbit/s. PRTG 9 or later supports sampling.

Is there a way to make PRTG automatically multiply the incoming data by the sample rate so that we get correct data in the toplists?
Also these are the setup instructions for a J-Series Router with j-flow (and netflow)

At the moment there is no possibility to apply a sampling rate for JFlow sensors in PRTG (this feature will come soon). Until then, please disable sampling on the device/router.

Is Jflow V9 supported?
Thanks.

Hi there,
Still no update, PRTG only support jFlow v5 at the moment, sorry.
Best regards, Felix

Is still only jFlow v5 supported? Do you have any plans for v9 support in the future?

Hello Jonathan,
No, unfortunately there are no plans to support jFlow v9 in near future.
If this is something that you like to see in PRTG and that others might also benefit from, consider raising a feature request on our knowledge base.
The approach to do so, is described here:
How can I propose new features or sensors for PRTG?
Best,
Sebastian
