Wondering if it's possible to customize the email template that is sendt from PRTG? We use the email notification to send the message to our mail server, then the mail server sends it to our cellphones via SMS. I have edited the notification in Account settings -> Notifications -> SMS alarm (name of the notification). I removed everything in the Message (Text) field. But the mail that is sendt still have a lot of text that i can't remove.

Hello,

you can change the footer and header of Email-Notifications under "Setup"->"System Administration"->"Notification Delivery"

best regards.

Update: This is not possible anymore as of PRTG version 15.4.21. Please see this article for details about how to edit email header and footer as of this version.

We are doing something similar, by sending the email's subject by SMS.

For this purpose we modified the template subject line to read:

%probe: %group, %device %name %status %down

Using the subject, there is no need to cleanout the email body or to worry about html codes, as the subject is always in plain text.
