Tracking the existence of a process on Linux.

Hello!

I read article about how to monitor processes in Linux (https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/29403-monitoring-processes-in-linux). I created new sensor with help of "SNMP" and "Basic Linux Library". I chose "Processes Error Flag" value. It was simple and understandable. Sensor shows that "Processes Error Flag" value is "0" and it is good. After this I stopped the process and got "Processes Error Flag" value is "1". That is sensor is working. But I didn't see alarm about that change and, of course, I didn't receive notification about it.

What should I configure additionally? Should I set some of check values or alarm configuration?

Thanks in advance.

You might want to configure either sensor limits or lookup definitions for the various states :)
