PRTG Network Monitor only works on 127.0.0.1

Hi, We have recently installed PRTG network monitor on Windows server 2012 R2. When I launch the PRTG Enterprise console, it connects to 127.0.0.1. Is this the expected behaviour. My server IP is 10.XXX.XX.XX; if I force it connect to only that IP, it fails.

In the PRTG Network Monitor console, under PRTG server, it only lists 127.0.0.1 not my internal IP. Am I doing something wrong or is this the expected behaviour. Kindly confirm.

Hello Medini,
thank you for your KB-post.

Please note that the Enterprise Console is only used to "access" PRTG, could it be that you're confusing the "PRTG Server Connections with the configuration for the server's IP/Port?

To set the IP/Port on which PRTG's web-interface will run please use the PRTG Administration Tool. The following article details how to set the port used for PRTG's Webserver:
