Symantec EndPoint Protection - Always Warning Status

Hi,

Using v15.3 on 2008r2 - we monitor SEP 12.1 on our workstations which PRTG helpfully added sensors for during autodiscovery once upon a time, but since the start on every PC the 2 sensors are in Warning status even though the last message is "Running - Up to Date" (the SEP console confirms they are up to date).

Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

Dear Macduffy,

Thank you very much for your support inquiry.

Kindly note that we officially don't support PRTG version 15.3, which is by now over one year old, any more. Please update PRTG to the latest version and check if this already solves the issue.

If the issue still persist, please contact Paessler's Technical Support directly. We'll need a couple of details from the affected sensor:

  • Screenshot of the sensor's "Overview" tab.
  • Screenshot of the sensor's "Log" tab.
  • The Sensor's configuration report (which can be generated within the sensor's settings, using the small printer icon on the gray bar at the bottom of the page from where the report can be generated, simply print/save it to the PDF format).

Please capture the whole PRTG user interface in any screenshot and attach them as Email file attachment.

Best regards,
Sebastian Kniege [Paessler Support]
