PRTG on IOS Phone

Hi there.

I have an Android Phone and an iPhone.

I want to recieve an alert from the PRTG App on the phone.

It's working fine on the Android Phone, even if the apps is closed and the phone is on standby. But on the iPhone, i only get the alert, if the PRTG App is active in front. If the PRTG App is minimized, but open in behind, there comes no alert. If I then call the PRTG app to the front again, it says, (Timeout error)

I use the same settings as on the Android phone.

What am I doing wrong ?

Hi,

I would love to know if this was ever fixed since I'm having the same issue (no alerts on iOS).

PRTG for IOS version 19.1.1 PRTG Server 18.4.47.1962

Yes Background App Refresh is enable and configured in the app to be as often a possible.

Hello Frederick,

It's hard to guess here at present. What exactly do you want to archive, push notifications that are chiefly defined within PRTG itself, or pull notifications from the mobile app only?
Can you elaborate on this please?
