User Story

As a PRTG User, I'd like to monitor my Nutanix environment with PRTG. They have an awesomely documented REST API we could use: http://developer.nutanix.com/reference/prism_central/v3/.

Details of User Story

There are various aspects to monitor about Nutanix; Cluster, Hosts and VMs would be nice for starters.

Acceptance criteria

  • Sensor should monitor the above aspects and metrics
  • Other monitoring statistics should be implemented on the go, so I don't need to recreate the sensor, if possible.

Status

Implemented

Update 22.01.2020With version 20.1.55, we implemented the SNMP Nutanix Cluster Health Sensor and the SNMP Nutanix Hypervisor Sensor. The corresponding manual entries:
- https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/snmp_nutanix_hypervisor_sensor
Update 21.12.2018We're currently working on Sensors for Nutanix (SNMP v3). Unfortunately, this may take quite a while.
