User Story

As a PRTG User, I want a %simplified status placeholder for our non-technical users.

Details of User Story

I'd like a new placeholder for sensor status that sends a one word status only, for instance, "up", "down", or "warning". Not something like "Down (was: Warning) ESCALATION" or "Warning ended (now: Down)" or "Down ended (now: Warning)".

These complicated status messages not only confuse staff, but make it very difficult to implement automation based on the status of a sensor.

Acceptance criteria

An additional status placeholder that only contains the current status of the sensor.

Released with PRTG The new placeholder %laststatus simply resolves to the current sensor status.
