Handle Channel Name Bulk Update

Votes:

0

Hi. we have around 50 snmp devices monitoring Cisco Switches.

In particular for example we have "System Health CPU" sensor which I want to update all CPU channel's with upper warning limit.

Some on the channels are called CPU 1 some CPU 1000 etc. How do I select all the channels regardless of what they are called in bulk and update them? Or how do I list all channels with the same name?

Regards Erez

Unfortunately, sensor channels cannot be renamed in bulk :(

Can I list all channels with the same name so I can edit the properties of the channels in bulk?

i.e I have 55 CPU Senors

20 have a channel called CPU 1, 20 are called CPU 100 etc

If I select all 55 CPU sensors, I'm unable to update the channel details on bulk, so how would I select only the sensors with the same channel name?

Hi,

Maybe the Sensor Rename tool can help you out here.
