User Story
As a PRTG User, I want set the GPS location of a device (or device group) using the PRTG app on my phone and the inbuilt GPS of my phone.
Details of User Story
The location of a device is useful for building maps in PRTG. Unfortunantly obtaining an accurate location for devices is difficult. Most phones these days have GPS built in and we now have a PRTG app for iPhone and Android. I think it would be useful to be able to use the PRTG app on my phone to set the GPS location for a device (or device group) using the GPS in my phone.
I have seen this feature implemented in the Ubiquiti UNMS app, which allows you to set the GPS location of a Ubiquiti device using the phones current GPS location. This has proven very useful in mapping our wireless network infrastrucure.
Acceptance criteria
- Criterion #1 - Should be available on iPhone and Android PRTG app
- Criterion #2 - Should allow you to set the location of a device or a device group (so this can be inherited to devices in the group)
