Map does not show any Map-objects

Hi,

we are using two PRTG Maps with "Public Access" to show some information on some displays within our company, only one map is shown on a display (no maprotation). After the update to 18.4.47.1962 we have the issue that when the client (Linux with Firefox) is loading the Map, the display only shows the background picture but no Map-object at all. We need to manually refresh the page multiple times to get the Map-objects to appear. The clients are rebooting every night, so we need to check the clients every morning, if the clients show the Map correctly. Sometimes we are lucky and the issue does not occur on all the displays.

We can reproduce this behavior with Internet Explorer and Firefox on Windows OS, too. This issue seems to only exist with Maps that are accessed without login.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi Jacqueline,

Please restart the PRTG Core Server service in order to resolve this. The problem will not occur anymore with PRTG 19.x.48, scheduled for release in early February. It will occur again as soon as objects that are placed on maps get deleted.

Sorry for the inconvenience!
