User Story

As a PRTG User, I want to monitor our DHCP server´s scopes with a native sensor.

Details of User Story

DHCP is a critical service, so we want to get notified if a scope is running out of leases. Right now it can be done via Powershell script, but I would prefer to do it with a native PRTG sensor.

Acceptance criteria

  • DHCP scopes should be in channels
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 should be supported as target (because it doesn't support Get-DhcpServerv4ScopeStatistics Powershell command)
  • Warning/Error limits must be changeable on a per channel basis

Status

Open

add-sensor dhcp dhcp-sensor prtg-kbtracker
