Access Keys from Probes.

Hello!

In menu "Setup -> System Administration -> Core & Probes -> Access Keys" we have list of access keys from Probes.

Couple of questions about this: 1) We need to add access keys only with brackets {XXXX-XXX-XXX-XXXX} or only numbers (without brackets)? Or both variants are acceptable? 2) We need to add Access Key + Allow IP, or Access Key OR Allow IP for Probe correct work?

Thank you!

Privet Vasiliy,

The access key can basically be everything, think of it as an identifcation token for the probe. Regarding the Access Key / Allow IP configuration:

If the Allow IP field is not set to "Any", you need to explicitly state the IP(s) that are allowed to connect to the core. Kind of like a mini firewall. The access key is always needed, though.
