Add a customized sensor on a Virtual Machine on Vmware

Hello, I have the following situation. We have the vcenter configured on PRTG, all the VMs are reporting fine on it. We have some linux servers on the vmware, I would like to add more customized sensors for the Linux vms. How I can do this without having to add a new device. I mean, I have serverA on the vcenter that is reporting on prtg, now I want add a sensor for serverA but there is no way. The only solutions seems add serverA manually and use ssh connection type on it but because this I will end with duplicated devices names on PRTG. Someone have a solution for this?

linux script vmware

Without an extra device that targets the VM specifically, this won't work I'm afraid :( With the VMWare Sensor itself, you monitor the state according to VMware, but for other metrics, you'll need the device itself added.
