Need to move PRTG onto a new server and would like to go with 2016 core. Are there any steps which are different than the link below?

https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/413-how-can-i-move-migrate-my-prtg-installation-to-another-computer

Are there other 'gotchas' with using Windows core?

Thanks

Hello there,

and thank you for your post.

Unfortunately, Windows servers in "Core" mode or "Minimal Server Interface" are not officially supported. As stated in the System Requirements.

For smooth operation, PRTG relies on many components of the Windows system it runs on and therefore needs a full Windows installation.

Kind regards,
