Consolidation of PRTG servers

We have two productive core servers across our organizations and would like to migrate the devices of one server to the other. Think of it as if we would like to convert one core server into a probe and integrate it into the other core.

According to a lot of information i have found it seems like there is no easy way of doing this. So what can we do about this?

I am aware of this article but that's not what we need: https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/413-how-can-i-move-migrate-my-prtg-installation-to-another-computer

Thanks a lot in advance!

It's not possible to convert a PRTG Core Server into a Remote Probe and retain the configuration and it's also not possible to merge the two into one installation. You'll need to recreate the Groups/Devices/Sensors of the smaller Server on the larger one. You can deactivate the old server, pause the Sensors/Devices and keep it running for historic data and reporting purposes.
