User Story

As a PRTG User, I want to use a OK Filter within the SNMP Trap Sensor, in order to keep the sensor in error status unless an OK Trap is not received.

Details of User Story

Since not all of the sources do send permanent Traps it is required to validate incoming Traps for an OK - Status. In that case the error status should be active unless the OK Trap is send - not only for the period of the next check. This should be easily done by adding a new filter which looks for suitable status and set the sensor to OK again, vice versa to the warning and error filter.

If the OK - filter is not filled from the admin, the sensor can operate like now and look for permanent messages to keep the sensor in error status during the time period of the check.

Acceptance criteria

  • Criterion #1 A new OK - Filter in the Traps Sensor, vice versa to Warning and Error Filter
