I don not find a sensor to monitor an HPE RAID controller. Neither via ILO nor via VMWare ESXi, nor via Windows VMI, nor via SNMP or SSH

What specific server model and RAID controller are we talking about here?

Hello Stephan, thanks for your question. I have to monitor several HPE servers Proliant. Some are old. I work actually on a ML30Gen9 with an embedded Dynamic Smart Array B140i Controller. After configuring ILO4 for my SNMP community, I use HPE profitant status sensor and physical drive sensor. Even if Proliant status report an Disk controller OK and physical disk status OK, I do not have health information about RAID group.

Did you already see this one:

https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/72036-how-to-monitor-physical-drives-on-hp-ml110-with-b140i-controller

It mentions the controller you have, but the appliance is different. Perhaps that approach works for you as well? :)
