User Story

As a PRTG User, I want an option to reset the maximum and minimum values of a sensor without having to lose historical data.

Details of User Story

For some SNMP reason, we have some sensors that show that have reached bandwidth over 100% of what is physically possible. For example, a 1Gbps interface may show that at some point it reached 50Gpbs. There is no way that could have happened. But, PRTG offers no way to reset this unless you are willing to lose the historical data associated with that interface. I have searched the web and many people have complained about this lack of an option to fix the maximum value.

Acceptance criteria

A configuration option to reset a maximum value on a sensor gauge without losing historical data.
