Ability to specify multiple IP wildcard ranges for DNS filter matching

Votes:

0

The Filter Value field in the DNS v2 sensor (https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/dns_v2_sensor) has the ability to match on a single range of IP addresses (e.g., 18.232.*). This request is to add the ability to match on multiple IP ranges (e.g., 18.232.* and 69.128.*).

This valuable for monitoring a DNS name that can legitimately switch its DNS mapping among multiple IP ranges, which is becoming more and more common as services are run in the cloud and switch DNS mappings for maintenance or releases.

Hello,

Currently it's only possible to enter one value here. But I understand the need for that. Feel free to propose a new feature request if you wish a feature like this to be implemented in the future. This will help us to prioritise the wish.
