User Story
As a PRTG User, I want the PRTG Mobile App to read NFC-Tags.
Details of User Story
PRTG Mobile App has a built-in QR-Code-Reader, which will bring you to the sensor / device of the QR-Code. Very convenient, you can put a QR-Code on a Rack Door; the QR-Code brings you directly to the Door Sensor, so you can pause it before opening the door. Unfortunately, we work in a high security environment, cameras (including smartphone cameras) are not allowed. Smartphone per se is allowed (the camera is deactivated).
How cool would it be, if you could program an NFC Tag containing the same information as the QR Code, and read it with a NFC-enabled smartphone? :) The important thing is, that the App should "listen" to NFC, for bringing up the related device in the App (and not in the Browser of the smartphone, where login in PRTG is always needed).
With this functionality, even high security environments like ours could profit even more of the PRTG Mobile App.
Acceptance criteria
- Criterion #1: PRTG listens to NFC-Tags.
