How can I set up an SMS notification from a third party provider?

I have Connection type: REST API: https: NameMyProvider / api / v3

Title: My title
Login: МyID
Password: MyPassword

Unfortunately I just found out that my provider is using the POST method

Now I want to use bulkSMS. I have registered at www.bulksms.com, I have my own account. What should I do next

PRTG natively supports BulkSMS, you can select this provider in the list under Setup > System Administration > Notification Delivery > SMS Delivery. There, you have to configure your credentials as well and then test if your settings are correct.

Finally, when everything works as expected, you can configure notification templates to send SMS (under Send SMS/Pager message in the notification template settings). Here is the corresponding manual: https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/notification_delivery_settings#sms

Hi,

For some reason, our company cannot use the bulkSMS service, and we decided to return to local providers. Could you tell me please. How can I find out the Custom URL? My provider sent only such a link https://msg.kcell.kz/api/v3, but it looks incomplete, there is no line for entering a username and password. I asked my provider to send a full link, but the provider's technician does not know what link he should provide. Maybe you can help me. Have you encountered Kcell provider? Do you know which link I need to add to the Custom URL?

Thank you for your message.

I'm afraid that we do not have experience with that provider. Therefore, I invite you to ask them the documentation of the API call as the data (defined in the doc) must be probably sent via POST request.

If that's the case, then I invite you to use the Execute HTTP Action in a notification template. Here is the corresponding manual: https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/notifications_settings#http
