User story

Since mainly Cisco is moving more and more towards Netconf and Yang for monitoring we find it hard that PRTG is staying behind in this improvement in security.

Details of user story

With the coming of the Cisco CAT9K series they have started moving away from the default SNMP, which is still supported but, according to Cisco TAC, will be replaced by the more modern NetConf and Yang. We are experiencing this mainly with the C9800 series wireless controller, which do no longer support OIDs for AP or SSID status. Therefor the SNMP package previously used for the AireOS controller is not working any more.

We hope to get this upvoted by as many as possible and get NetConf implemented in PRTG as soon as possible.
