With IOS-XR out and devices rolling in, we're looking to have IOS-XR MIBS built in to PRTG to ease the pain of adding them into PRTG.

Thanks for reaching out to us here. You can propose a feature request by following the steps provided in this guide.
Here you can also elaborate in which particular metrics you are interested for the monitoring. This will give other customers the chance to vote for a native integration as well.
In the meantime, you can use the MIB Importer Tool to quickly browse through your desired metrics to then add them into PRTG with a few clicks.
