User story

As a PRTG user, I want the option to add a Delay timer to the checking for text on a website.

Details of user story

Some websites are built using JavaScript and other frameworks that may load a very quick "initial" webpage, and then load more content shortly after. When monitoring for a Keyword it would be helpful to have the ability to wait a defined period of seconds before testing the website to see if that keyword exists. This is very useful for monitoring purposes to ensure that not just the initial page loads, but the JavaScript libraries all load and are processed as well.

Acceptance criteria

  • For a given website, that uses JavaScript or similar technologies, verify that a keyword that is not part of the initial webpage is able to be read on the page.
