PRTG Engine-ID

Hello,

I would like to know if in the latest version we can use an Engine-ID to deal with SNMPv3. Indeed I have a Netmodule switch, and this device use an Engine-ID when SNMPv3 is enable.

It wasn't implemented in 2019 : https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/86808-prtg-engine-id#reply-302807

I didn't find informations in the user manual : just a Context Name is noted.

Hello,

The mentioned article is still valid. Engine ID is not supported by PRTG and there are currently no plans to implement it I'm afraid.

But I understand the need for that. Feel free to propose a new official feature request if you wish a feature like this to be implemented in the future. This will help us to prioritise the wish internally so that the feature eventually makes its way into the roadmap then.
