User story

As a PRTG user, I want the "Microsoft SQL v2" and "Oracle SQLv2" sensor to have the same functionalities as the "v1" sensors.

Details of user story

The v1 sensors had a field "SQL Expression" within its settings which allowed users to enter a SQL statement directly within the sensor settings.

For the v2 sensor its necessary to store a SQL query file on the probe system which might not be possible in every environment.

Its not possible to enter DB credentials directly within the sensor settings of the "Oracle SQLv2" anymore.

Acceptance criteria

  • Add "SQL Expression"- field for the "Microsoft SQL v2" sensor
  • Add "DB credentials"- field for the "Oracle SQL v2" sensor
