User story

As a PRTG user, I want the ability to group multiple sensors to one group i.e. netflow sensors.

Details of user story

We are using a lot of Netflow Sensors for different plants. I would like to have the ability that I can create a group and put all of the netflow sensors in it. Just for the purpose to push new channel definitions or adjust channel definitions to all netflow sensors in this group.

Acceptance criteria

  • Group multiple Netflow/Sflow Sensors to adjust channel definitions.

Hello Willflo,

This is actually already possible with Libraries.

Take a look at this feature and check if this already fits your needs.

Hey i looked into the libraries feature. I see what you are saying that this already exists. But with the feature i can only create different view of all netflow sensors. I didnt find the option to edit multiple sensors at once. Am I missing something or is that kind of feature not implemented? Thanks, Kind Regards Florian

Hello Willfo,

you can also go via "Sensors" > "by Type" or "by Tag" where multi editing works.
