Issue with Custom Lookup Sensor

Votes:

0

Hello all, I am setting up a custom sensor that is using a custom Lookup Graph. It is using a Powershell script to poll for port status on a switch, and it then converts the port status to a numerical value that is an int which is confirmed when running $port1 -is [int]. It keeps coming back with "Warning caused by lookup value 'Undefined lookup value (0)'"

Hi Benny,

Thanks for contacting us.

I understand that you need assistance with Powershell script returning the error "Warning caused by lookup value", correct?

Here's a similar KB article: https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/80076-custom-lookup-values-issue

Let me know if this helps and if possible you can also send an email to [email protected] to check more in detail this scenario you have. D

NOTE: Scripting is a custom feature hence the support is limited as customizations are out of support.

Kind regards,

Miguel Aikens
