Please consider adding a FHIR sensor. FHIR is the evolution of HL7 and uses RestAPI, both underpinnings are already in your product. This is not a "future" protocol. It is alive and well now.

Unfortunately, we do not have native sensors yet deployed for your request, I encourage you to proceed and open a Feature request and will take in consideration for future releases.
