Hi there,

Could you please try to start the Enterprise Console with elevated rights (right click > run as administrator). Does it start correctly then?

Best regards, Felix

Yes, that worked. On the production server the Enterprise console attempts to start when I RDP to that server. Can I turn this off as we typically use the Web UI anyway. Or at the very least I need to know how to have this start using the elevated permissions.

thanks

Great to hear that this resolved the issue. You could change the shortcut of the Enterprise Console to always run as administrator. Next to this, you can also take a look at our new Desktop app, which will replace the Enterprise Console in the future:

This is a problem as I don't have admin rights to the computer. This was not a problem in the old version of PRTG.

Hi David,

Yes, it wasn't, we're currently working on a fix for this. You can also try using "PRTG Desktop" as Felix mentioned before, since Enterprise Console is "dying" anyway and will be replaced by PRTG Desktop sooner than later.

Kind regards,

Erhard

I just wanted to follow up regarding the matter. While it took some time, the EC issues have been resolved in PRTG 18.4.47.1962. If you haven't installed it yet, simply do so via Setup | Auto Update :)
